Using very detailed images of skin, I manipulate the color and saturation to simulate otherworldly terrain. By making tiny adjustments to each field, I can pull these amazing colors from the image. Each manipulation builds on the other to produce unique effects. I've always been interested in how skin can reveal internal happenings, so I think of these as an extension of that... like they're showing an internal energy field that isn't visible on the surface.
